Finding, developing and keeping great people is critical to our success! We’re looking for individuals who embody the spirit of our city – dynamic, dedicated and incredibly driven – with a firm belief in potential and a clear vision for action. Our entire DREAM team – teachers and non-teachers alike – are committed to closing the achievement gap in Fall River and supporting the work required to ensure that 100% of scholars are on a path to college.

Argosy Collegiate Charter School (ACCS) proudly provides a tuition free, college preparatory, small school environment for scholars to grow, learn, and develop collegiate dispositions and capacities. We are open to all learners and are focused on transforming college and career readiness for our scholars.

"Why Teach at Argosy Collegiate"

Our professional development program is designed to foster great teaching and promote academic excellence. It is continuous, multifaceted and always evolving based on the needs of scholars and staff. Professional development is incorporated into the school day and formatted to best support school-wide initiatives. We are proud to offer a variety of Professional Learning Communities and frequent opportunities to engage in SEL and DEI work as part of our school-wide commitment to meeting the needs of our community at large.

Our instructional coaches provide all teachers with individualized support on a regular basis. They are constantly in and out of classrooms, conducting learning walks, participating in coaching cycles and providing real-time feedback to support teacher growth and development. Argosy Collegiate Charter School distinguishes between coaching and evaluation and does not include our instructional coaching team in the teacher evaluation process.

Strong relationships are really important and we strive to create a team environment where teachers are able to share best practices, plan lessons, and analyze data together. Our teachers work very closely in grade level teams, which meet regularly to discuss and address scholar progress. Our teachers also engage in vertical content meetings across both campuses to ensure alignment of our 6th-12th grade program.

Our tiered compensation system values great teaching and rewards experience. It is competitive with neighboring public schools and designed to compensate staff who are progressing in their careers by securing additional licensure, degrees and years of classroom experience. Performance bonuses, stipends, professional awards and other benefits are also provided to support the hard work of our team.

Our team is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to provide leadership and career advancement opportunities for staff members who are eager to grow in their careers with Argosy.  Teacher leadership opportunities are available at each grade level and for each content area.  Staff are always notified of new or open positions and encouraged to apply for promotion opportunities that best match their experience, skill set and career goals.
