Argosy Collegiate Charter School’s high school program is laser focused on propelling our scholars and alumni to complete a bachelor’s degree as quickly and as inexpensively as possible, truly removing the financial barriers to attaining a college degree.
Our school culture centers on our DREAM values – DETERMINATION, RESPECT, EXCELLENCE, ALTRUISM AND MATURITY.
We expect all scholars to BE HERE. WORK HARD. AND BE NICE to others.
Day in the Life
- Scholars are greeted at the door each morning and welcomed into the building. We like to take a moment to check-in with scholars at the start of the day to ensure they are in uniform and prepared to learn.
- Scholars attend Homeroom at the start and end of every day with their homeroom teachers who also serve as their advisors. Cell phones are collected while school announcements keep scholars informed and scholars ready themselves for the day.
- Time for class! At the high school level, scholars have more opportunities to create their own schedule. They choose classes based on graduation requirements, personal interests and their future career plans. Scholars can opt-in to honors level classes and choose to sit for AP exams.
- Our early college program allows all academically eligible scholars to participate to take college-level courses for FREE! Some of these courses are taught by college professors on Argosy Collegiate’s campus while others are taught off-site on Bristol’s campus. Transportation to Bristol Community College is provided.
- Our elective offerings continue to grow! Current offerings include robotics, art, foreign language, forensics, human body systems. engineering, computer science and aviation. Culinary Arts coming soon.
- It’s game time! Scholars enjoy staying after school to participate in sports and afterschool clubs. Offerings include Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Rowing, Cheerleading; Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA), Student Government, Musical Theatre, Art, Music, and Yearbook club.
